The summer season is coming to an end and back to school is just around the corner. It's time to get back to work, because we have a lot of work to do! Indeed, the temperatures should start to decrease and our garden is just waiting to be planted. And for that, we have what it takes. Discover our 4 missions for the month of September :

1. Remove the leaves from the base of the tomatoes :

To begin, we will remove the leaves from the base of our tomato plants. This manipulation will prevent the spread of diseases and will promote the sunshine of the plant. So, using a pruning shears, remove the leaves from the lower part of the tomato plant.

2. Planting strawberry plants :

Strawberries are first sown in buckets, then planted in the ground at two times of the year. In the spring, then in the fall. We chose the fall for this year. To do this, digging and weeding your soil is an important step. Once this is done, plant 25 to 30 plants in the ground every 25 cm. Then, water.

3. Sowing winter lettuce :

It is the ideal time to sow our winter lettuces! A simple manipulation, which will give you, in a few months, magnificent lettuces to taste in salad. To do this, make small furrows and sow the winter lettuce in the ground. Cover and water.

4. Sow radishes in the ground :

Sow radishes in the ground For radishes, choose rich, well-drained soil with sun exposure. Prepare your soil with potting soil. Then, sow the radish seeds in rows in furrows spaced 30 cm apart. Cover, tamp and water lightly. Once the plants have developed 4 to 5 leaves, thin out to about 6 cm.
